Brentwood Newsletter Independence Day Pencil
The Brentwood Newsletter (BNL) entered a pencil-themed float in the 2024 Brentwood, New Hampshire, Independence Day parade. The BNL team and family members constructed, then paraded a large yellow pencil, complete with eraser, accompanied by an equally large facsimile of the Declaration of Independence framed in a BNL mask. The pencil was a re-purposing of the previous year’s rocket and there was talk from parade attendees that it was even better than the 2023 BNL entry. Once again, the community gave a rousing reception along the parade way and townsfolk were delighted to receive patriotic red, white and blue pencils bearing the Brentwood Newsletter name. The friendly BNL team were resplendent in their BNL signature yellow shirts.

Local Area Resident.
So, once again, the parade ended and the float was dismantled for storage in a barn somewhere in Brentwood. What could it possibly be next year…?
